The origin of these grapes is Bucelas, in the western region, being that it is considered one of the best national white grapes. Exceptional due to its high acidity and ability to produce wines with good aging capacity, it finds itself among the most expressive grapes in Portugal.

Slightly golden yellow color . With more round citrus notes , tending to some positive oxidation , tropicality , mineral and saline touch. Still in great shape in your bouquet . Slight acidity that was exchanged for more complex reappears oxidation under mild form jam without exaggerating , more structure , more volume in the mouth that almost glue on the cheek.

At Quinta do Rol you will encounter foggy mornings, moderately warm afternoons and cool nights, favourable conditions for the grapes allowing for wines with characteristics of high quality.
The color is bright yellow. The aroma is mineral and fruity with particular emphasis on the citrus scents denoting a hint of the tropical. The flavour is fresh and mineral with an excellent balance of acidity and alcohol, well structured with a long ending.
Goes well with fish and seafood and should be served chilled. It has a pronounced and multifaceted identity and should be savoured in the most refined and tranquil environment.
