At Quinta do Rol, the Chardonnay grapes, greatly influenced by the proximity to the ocean and favourable edaphic conditions, allow for sparkling wines of particular elegance, delicateness and complexity that perfectly express the terroir of the Quinta do Rol.
This Sparking Wine Blanc de Blancs, is elaborated through a classic method with the 2nd fermentation in the bottle and a period of aging “sur lies” in the wine cellar for a period of 30 months.
The “remouge” was manual and done in the traditional manner and, during the “dégorgement”, expedition liquor was not added, originating in an extra brut sparkling wine.
It is bright yellow with light green tones. It is fruity (citrus and tropical), creamy with a nutty tone. Fresh with tiny bubbles that melt in your mouth, well structured that confers a captivating citric acidity and perfect dryness with a long ending.
Served chilled, it can be accompanied by nuts or fish and seafood.
